Report
sphere
Reports of round, metallic, dark, or luminous targets. A circle in an image can be a sphere, a balloon, an aircraft seen end-on, or an optical artefact.
AARO assessed a 2024 red spheroid in the Middle East as almost certainly a reflective foil balloon. Other reports stay unresolved because the data are thin. Ryan Graves has discussed recurring round objects reported by pilots. That is a pattern of reports, not one technology.
