Concept
- Second-density bodiesIn Ra’s map, second density is plant and animal life. Session 10 says Maldek’s displaced souls incarnated on Earth in ape-like second-density bodies about 500,000 years ago.
- Digital rootAdd a number’s digits until one digit is left: 5432 becomes 14 becomes 5. The result is the remainder on division by 9. It is the central tool of Philomath.
- SekedThe ancient Egyptian way to state a slope: how many palms the face runs sideways for every cubit it rises. Seven palms made a cubit.
- SpacetimeThe four-dimensional structure in which space and time are not separate. Different observers can disagree about duration, distance, and which distant events are happening now, while agreeing on the laws.
- Block universeA philosophical reading of relativity: past, present, and future events all belong to one four-dimensional structure. There is no single “now” sweeping through the universe.
- Einstein–Rosen bridgeA 1935 mathematical solution in general relativity: two sheets of space joined by a bridge. Later nicknamed a wormhole. The paper was about representing particles without singularities, not about travel.
- Sri YantraA sacred Hindu diagram of nine interlocking triangles around a bindu, traditionally counted as 43 smaller triangles. Its construction is a real, nontrivial geometry problem.
- PrecessionEarth’s axis traces a slow circle against the stars, so the equinox drifts through the zodiac. One full turn takes about 25,772 years on the current astronomical model.
- YugaAn age in Indian cosmology. The four ages — Satya, Treta, Dwapara, Kali — are said to cycle, with human dharma declining and returning.
- SandhiA transitional period at the beginning and end of a yuga in Sri Yukteswar’s chronology. The 200-year sandhi of ascending Dwapara runs from 1699 to 1899.
- VishnunabhiSri Yukteswar’s name for a greater cosmic centre, associated with Brahma and “universal magnetism,” toward which he says the Sun’s position governs human understanding.
- Central SunA name that has meant a physical star, a galactic centre, and a metaphysical source, depending on who used it.
- Photon BeltA proposed band of radiation around a greater star, usually Alcyone, that the Solar System is said to enter on a 24,000-year orbit, transforming consciousness.
- Tzolk’inThe 260-day sacred Maya calendar: 13 numbers cycling with 20 day names. Still kept, as Chol Q’ij, by daykeepers in highland Guatemala.
- Haab’The 365-day Maya year: 18 periods of 20 days, plus the five-day Wayeb’. It approximates the tropical year and has no leap-day correction in its ordinary structure.
- Calendar RoundThe combination of Tzolk’in and Haab’. A paired date repeats after 18,980 days, which is 52 Haab’ years, about 51.96 tropical years.
- Long CountA continuous Maya day count from a mythological epoch, 11 August 3114 BCE in the standard correlation. Its largest common unit, the baktun, is 144,000 days, about 394 years.
- 819-day countA Classic Maya interval of 819 days, often tied to a four-part colour and direction scheme. Why 819 mattered was unclear for decades.
- The Flower of LifeNineteen overlapping circles on a hexagonal grid, inside one larger circle. A pattern found as decoration across the ancient world and adopted by modern sacred geometry as a blueprint of creation.
- Homo sapiensOur species. Fossils place early members in Africa about 300,000 years ago, inside a braid of populations, not one straight line.
- WanderersIn Ra, higher-density beings who take human birth to help, and who usually forget why.
- HarvestRa’s graduation at the end of the 75,000-year cycle. People sort by the polarity they have actually lived.
- VeilThe forgetting that makes third density a real choice. Without it, unity is obvious and the choice between ways of loving is too easy.
- QuarantineRa’s rule around Earth. Neither the Confederation nor Orion may overwhelm a people’s free will.
- DensitiesRa’s word for stages of consciousness. Third density is a human life with a veil. Fourth is the next grade.
- Kali YugaThe last of the four yugas, named for decline. In the Purāṇas it begins about 3102 BCE and lasts 432,000 years. Sri Yukteswar rereads it as 1,200 years, with a low point around 499 CE.
- Dwapara YugaThe third of the four yugas. In Sri Yukteswar’s Holy Science, ascending Dwapara begins about 1699 CE. On that clock, 2026 is year 326 of the age.
- Treta YugaThe second of the four yugas. In Yukteswar’s shortened cycle it lasts 3,600 years, sandhi included.
- Satya YugaThe first of the four yugas, the age of fullest dharma. Also called Krita. Yukteswar gives it 4,800 years inside a 24,000-year orbit.
- ĀtmanA Sanskrit word for the self that is not the personality — the witness, or the self as Brahman, depending on the school.
- DharmaA Sanskrit word that can mean law, duty, the way a thing holds together, or the moral order of an age.
- Advaita“Not two.” A school of Vedānta in which the self and the ground of being are not separate. Awareness is treated as prior to the clock.
- Twelve-strand DNAA claim in Marciniak’s Bringers of the Dawn that human DNA was originally twelve-stranded and was later narrowed.
- Root racesBlavatsky’s scheme in The Secret Doctrine (1888) of successive humanities — including Lemurian and Atlantean races — that later lost-world writers inherit.
