The claim that an object passed between air and water. A 26 April 2013 infrared video over Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, was read by some viewers as one object entering the sea, reappearing, and splitting.
AARO reconstructed the camera geometry and concluded with high confidence that the footage shows two airborne objects, not one splitting, and that neither entered the water. Apparent speed was affected by parallax. The splash people imagine is not what that reconstruction found. Do not tell Aguadilla as verified air-to-sea travel.
