EFSA’s 2020 group tolerable weekly intake for four PFAS is 4.4 nanograms per kilogram of body weight. Parts of the European population exceed it. Fish and eggs are the main food contributors in that assessment. The EEA 2025 briefing treats PFAS as an ongoing exposure, not a solved problem.
