Sandhi
A transitional period at the beginning and end of a yuga in Sri Yukteswar’s chronology. The 200-year sandhi of ascending Dwapara runs from 1699 to 1899.

The durations he prints already include these junctions: 4,800, 3,600, 2,400, and 1,200 years. Later summaries sometimes date an age from the end of its sandhi rather than the start, which is why 1899 and 1699 both appear as “the beginning of Dwapara.”
