Satya Yuga
The first of the four yugas, the age of fullest dharma. Also called Krita. Yukteswar gives it 4,800 years inside a 24,000-year orbit.

In Yukteswar’s account, awareness rises and falls with the Sun’s distance from Vishnunabhi, and Satya is the high point of that cycle. Archaeology dates cultures with strata, tools, and settlements. His ages describe a claimed change in understanding. They do not name a layer in the ground.
