Writer, researcher · Megalithomania
Hugh Newman
Writer and organiser of Megalithomania. His books treat stone circles, Göbekli Tepe, and Karahan Tepe as landscapes organised around the sky and, in Earth Grids, around a proposed global geometry. Giants on Record, with Jim Vieira, collects reports of unusually tall people and of large bones.
A measured alignment, a proposed earth grid, and a report of a giant are three different statements. A tall individual is not a separate species of monument builders.

Main findings this site uses
Megalithic sites as a shared tradition of astronomy, geometry, and long-distance knowledge, with giants investigated case by case.
Stonehenge and the Anatolian sites have excavated contexts. A global grid and a race of giants are further inferences, not measurements of those sites.
