Member of Congress · House Oversight
Anna Paulina Luna
Anna Paulina Luna is a member of the United States House of Representatives whose role in UAP research is institutional rather than that of a conventional whistleblower. She has chaired the House Oversight Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets and sought records relating to unidentified anomalous phenomena. Her public statements have also discussed possible non-human or interdimensional explanations. For an academic archive, it is essential to separate those personal interpretations from the documented actions of Congress.
Congressional oversight has a practical role even when the underlying cause of an unidentified sighting remains unknown. Military aviation reports can implicate flight safety, sensor performance, intelligence collection and classification policy. Lawmakers may request briefings, examine whistleblower protections and demand records from agencies. None of these steps establishes extraterrestrial origins. They instead create a process through which official statements and supporting materials can be examined.
