The souls were caught in fear. About 500,000 years ago many incarnated on Earth in second-density bodies, as a way through that action; Ra says one kind of what we call Bigfoot is that remnant. A 2006 Bashar interview is reported to blame a close passage of another body instead of war, and to set Maldek, Mars, and Earth in one sequence of lives. That is the clearest contradiction between the two teachings on a single event, and it changes the moral: a warning about choice in one, an accident in the other. On the ground, the belt holds about four percent of the Moon’s mass and, in the standard account, never assembled into a planet because of Jupiter.
