Time · Chapter 1
Einstein: time is not a universal clock
The physics is dated. The frequency sentence is dated too, and it is not his. ER = EPR is a serious conjecture hung on two 1935 papers; it is not a travel method.
What if there is no single “now” — and that fact still does not hand time to consciousness, a companion star, or a belt of photons?
Relativity took the universal clock away. Atomic clocks measure the shift across a millimetre. The line about matching the frequency of the reality you want is traced to Bashar material, not to Einstein.
The measured clock
showed in 1905 that two observers in relative motion need not agree on how much time passed, or on which distant events are happening now. In 1915 gravity itself became the curvature of . In 2022 atomic clocks measured the gravitational shift across a millimetre of height. A 2026 analysis of the gravitational-wave event GW250114 found no departure from general relativity. Time is part of the physics, not a background everyone shares.
Past, present, future
On 21 March 1955 Einstein wrote to Michele Besso’s family that, for “us believing physicists,” the split between past, present, and future has only the meaning of a stubborn illusion. The letter is authentic. Special relativity really has no observer-independent global present. The reading, that all moments exist equally, is philosophy built on that fact. Nondual philosophy says awareness itself is timeless. They approach the same discomfort from different doors. Einstein did not walk through the third.
What this does for the other clocks
General relativity is how you would check a 24,000-year solar companion: the companion must pull. NASA’s WISE survey found no such object to 10,000 AU. The galactic orbit, about 230 million years, is real and far longer than a as Yukteswar counted it. Einstein’s 1931 cosmology described expansion then contraction; later scholarship shows it was not a repeating creation cycle. Maya calendars keep days. They do not, by themselves, write a law of spacetime. Relativity does not turn the into a detection.
Geometry, bridges, and a quote that is not his
General relativity made geometry do physical work. The is a real construction problem; Chiodo (2021) solved it with straightedge and compass. That does not open a passageway between dimensions. Einstein and Bergmann did study a fifth dimension as a unification method, not as a spiritual plane. The bridge is a 1935 solution, not a vehicle. Entanglement is measured, and cannot send a controllable message faster than light. The line “everything is energy… match the frequency of the reality you want” is traced by Quote Investigator to material from 1996, not to Einstein. In 1930 he told Tagore that an objective world exists independently of us.
