The Maya test

What if one channeled claim names a living people — and their ancestors left bones?

A 2021 transcript attributed to includes a line that the original were an off-world species. Genomes from Chichén Itzá and Belize show continuity with Indigenous peoples of the region. The test came back negative. That settles one claim. It does not decide the rest of the teaching. Palenque’s calendars remain Maya.

The claim

The 19 June 2021 transcript attributed to includes a line that the original belonged to another species arriving from off-world. It is a third-party text. It is also unusually testable, because it names a people whose ancestors left bones, cities, and books. Atlantis names no remains. This names a living civilisation.

What the bones say

A 2024 Nature study by Rodrigo Barquera and colleagues of ancient genomes from Chichén Itzá found long-term genetic continuity with Indigenous populations of the Maya region. A 2022 study of remains from Belize, led by Douglas Kennett, traced movements within the Americas and the arrival of farming. Neither finds an outside founding population. The people who built Palenque are the ancestors of the people who still live in the region.

’s Season 2 reads Maya calendars as a surviving Ice Age science. That is a different sentence from Bashar’s. The monuments are Maya. The 2012 apocalypse is a modern caption, which Hancock himself corrects. Base-20 numbers with zero and a Venus cycle counted exactly do not require an off-world founder.

What a test is

Most channeled history cannot be checked. This one can. Finding the claim false does not decide the rest of the 19 June 2021 session, and it does not decide Atlantis, Maldek, or the Tic Tacs. It shows which kind of claim a genome can answer, and that this site will say so when it does. Named sources, in one story — including when the story fails a test.
