Shadok: a gateway in Willa’s future, not Stonehenge
Walking between uprights, in this account, relocates a person on one planet. That sentence belongs to Willa’s future, not to the archaeology of Stonehenge.
A third-party Q&A describes a transport system on a version of Earth placed about seven hundred years ahead. The automated text renders the name as Shadok or Shadock. The spelling is unverified. The form is compared, loosely, with standing stones. Passing between them is said to arrive the body intact at another place on the same planet. The comparison explains a picture. It does not identify the British monument as a teleporter.
A location variable, not a particle beam
is reported to tie the gateway to the same idea used for rapid spacecraft travel: location as a variable in a pattern, not a body taken apart and sent as particles. Asked about power, the transcript mentions several possibilities, including what it calls positronic and zero-point energy. No circuit and no energy budget follow.
Willa’s society is said to have passed through a restoration in which much of the planet returned to a more natural condition. The gateway is part of that social picture. An environmental benefit cannot be read off the word “natural.” Roads, fuel, and borders would change only if such a network existed and were governed in a particular way. This page does not have that network.
Quantum teleportation moves information
IBM’s account of quantum teleportation transfers a quantum state, using entanglement and a classical message. It does not carry a person from one standing stone to another. The two uses of “teleportation” should stay in separate sentences.
The design questions a real system would have to answer — a blocked destination, a partial step, two arrivals at once — are not answered by naming a gateway. Stone circles on Earth remain what the excavations say they are.
