Seven readings of the monuments
Seven researchers read the same monuments. Their explanations do not collapse into one earlier civilisation.

Robert Schoch argues from weathering. John Anthony West argues from symbol and consciousness. Andrew Collins argues from the Watchers, Göbekli Tepe, and Cygnus. Hugh Newman argues from megalithic landscapes and reported giants. Robert Bauval argues from Orion. Christopher Dunn argues from manufacturing, then from a machine. Ben van Kerkwyk argues from scans of stone vessels. Each page keeps that person’s evidence and the objections beside it.
Seven accounts, kept apart
These seven writers share a subject: monuments and objects that may record capacities left out of a familiar textbook. They do not share one mechanism. A temple, a measurement of its orientation, and a claim about the consciousness of its builders are different statements.
They also share a network. and worked together on the Sphinx. worked with Schoch and with . and publish and speak in overlapping circuits. discusses . Seven repetitions of a claim can be one claim travelling, not seven independent discoveries.
Weathering, symbol, and the Sphinx
, a geologist, argues that the Sphinx enclosure was weathered by rain and that the core is older than Khafre, in his later writing as old as the end of the Ice Age, with the head recarved. Other geologists, including K. Lal Gauri and colleagues, explain the same limestone without that date. Ancient Egypt Research Associates reads the quarry, the temple blocks, and the walls as a sequence inside Khafre’s building programme.
brought Schoch to the monument from a symbolist reading, drawn from R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz, in which Egypt is a school of consciousness. An earlier date, if it were established, would not verify that spiritual system. The geology and the symbol are filed separately.
reads the three main pyramids as a map of Orion’s Belt and, with Hancock, a symbolic First Time near 10,500 BCE. A match to a star group is a claim about design. The ground date of the Great Pyramid remains Khufu, in the Fourth Dynasty. He has also disputed Collins’s reading of the same sky as Cygnus.
Early stone, sky, and giants
and Karahan Tepe are dated monumental sites. The excavators place the main Göbekli phase with hunter-gatherers around 9600 BCE and now describe a settlement with a ritual life, not an empty temple built by outsiders.
connects those sites with the Watchers, with Cygnus, with a proposed Denisovan ancestry, and with caves at Giza. connects them with stone circles, solstices, a proposed earth grid, and reports of giants collected with Jim Vieira. A dated hilltop in Türkiye does not identify an Atlantean population, a stellar cult, or a race of giant builders. Tall individuals, mythic giants, and a separate species of monument-makers remain three propositions.
Precision is not a power plant
, a machinist, treats the precision of Egyptian granite — surfaces Petrie already measured — as evidence of advanced manufacturing. The Giza Power Plant is a further hypothesis: that the Great Pyramid was a machine. A tolerance is a measurement. A machine is a reconstruction. The Khufu marks, the diary of Merer, and the workers’ town remain the archaeological case that the pyramid was a king’s building.
, through UnchartedX, publishes scans of stone vessels and argues that some could not have been made with the tools usually assigned to their period. A 2025 paper in npj Heritage Science and later replies, including a modern-forgery argument, belong in the same file. A scan records a shape. It does not by itself date the object or identify a lost industrial system.
What would count as confirmation
The material record is the firm ground: early monuments, skilled stonework, ritual landscapes, and real relationships with the sky. Loss of particular skills is a legitimate question.
A global prehistoric civilisation, a carving assigned to one constellation, or a reconstructed energy system needs more than an impressive monument. Confirmation is another investigation establishing the observation by its own method. Citing the original claim shows only that the claim circulated.
